Diagnostics & Tuning Sessions

This is not a ProTune / E-Tune performance tune, this is specifically a diagnostics and tuning fee. Diagnostics is not included in a ProTune tune purchase. When purchasing a ProTune we expect your vehicle to be in perfect running condition before starting. We do not want customers to purchase a full ProTune with the hopes of fixing an issue. Most issues are NOT tuning related and rather hardware related. 

This fee is if you are having issues with your vehicle and are looking for our assistance in diagnosing your issue. This fee can be purchased and we will go through a session with a tune specifically setup to diagnose your specific issue. We will outline instructions to record datalogs to assist in pinpointing your specific issue. 

You do not need to be a current tuning customer for this service. We will setup a tune for any setup/configuration with the sole purpose of correcting your issue. Then you can choose to either purchase a full ProTune at a discounted rate, or go back to using your current tuner. 

Any non-current tuning customer that purchases and later wants a full tuning session will receive $50 off towards a ProTune after your issue has been diagnosed and corrected. 

No guarantees can be offered that your issue will be resolved, however we have more experience with 4 cylinder Ecoboost platforms than any other shop or tuner out there. We run a full service install and build shop in addition to tuning. We have encountered a ton of issues and quirks over the 10 years we have been in business, and have documented their symptoms and fixes over time. 

We get that most other tuners stop communicating when their customers have issues during or after a tuning session, and that forces the customer to look at other avenues for a resolution. This is that resolution, all while keeping the option to stick with your current tune after resolving your problem, saving the customer money. 

Again, there are no guarantees your problem will be resolved, but this is your highest chance at finding a fix!

Note: 

• You may be asked to perform other test that require specialized equipment (compression test, leak down test, etc)
• You may be asked to perform basic mechanical procedures to inspect certain aspects of the engine (spark plugs, injectors, etc)
• Special software like Forscan may be required, please look this up before purchasing! 
• Parts may be required for testing. If you purchase and it does no solve your issue, by purchasing this diagnostic fee this means you accept that we are not responsible for any sort of reimbursement. Most parts are cheap for these platforms, so they aren't LARGE purchases. 
• We are ALWAYS going to start with the cheapest possible solutions, unless we are 100% confident a bigger ticket item will resolve your issue. (Ex: Headgasket seeping and needing replacement). 

Instructions:

1. Once order is placed, please create an account on our customer portal (if you haven't already) by going to www.tunerbase.app. Create account, add vehicle and ALL details to your garage, then submit a new tune request. 
2. For order number please enter in the order number you'll receive on the order confirmation page or your email, put "DIAG" next to it in the box on Tunerbase. 
3. After your request is submitted, use the message box to outline your issue in detail!
